Plums
Plums are stone fruits as well, members of the prunus genus. In general they have dark red or black color, they are bittersweet or sweet, depending on the variety, and they are a good source of Vitamins A and C.
Our plums are mainly cultivated in the regions of Thessaly and Imathia, where a group of closely monitored growers grow different kind of plums, in order to achieve an extended campaign, starting early June with the earliest varieties, ending in December with varieties that can be kept in storage when treated with 1-MCP.
The varieties of our plums are: Black Amber, Black Diamond, Fortune, Angelino.
